After Care

Cleaning and maintenance
The real beauty of a Coppice & Crown floor lies in its easy maintenance and cleaning regime. The best way to clean your wooden flooring is to brush it freely. You can mop your wood floor, but we suggest limiting how often you do this, using as little water as possible and choosing a product designed for cleaning wood floors. You can easily vacuum clean your floor for quick and easy cleaning.

Pets
All of our floors are pet safe. You may find an excitable Labrador leaves the odd small scratch mark here and there, but we believe this is all part of living with one of our natural wood floors and only adds to its character. Our floors are crafted to last for generations, so the option to sand back your floor and re-oil if ever you wanted to refresh it is there.

Tough Stains and marks
The true beauty of a luxury wood floor is that the marks of life add to its story. However, some stains may be too obvious to welcome. You can either sand these back to remove them, or in some cases may want to order some replacement boards. We’re here to help if this is the case.

Furniture pads
Protect the future of your food flooring by applying soft furniture pads to the bottom of your sofa feet, chairs and tables.
