Jenna Burlingham’s art gallery, renowned for its celebration of fine art and British heritage, sought a real wood flooring solution that would harmonise with the gallery’s aesthetic values. Our Heritage Oak Flooring, sourced from local, sustainable British wood, proved to be the ideal choice. Its rich, warm tones and distinct grain patterns resonated perfectly with the gallery’s vision.
Jenna Burlingham’s Gallery was established in Kingsclere in 2010, and now takes residence of the Rope House. Once an 18th-century rope merchant’s home and workshop, this gorgeously characterful townhouse is home to artworks from across the UK. In a venue with such history, it was important to emulate this through the use of a real wood flooring, giving history back to the property where it was to be laid.
With such fine pieces spread across the ground level and first floor of the gallery, the luxury wood flooring needed to create as natural a setting as possible. Having a timeless real wood floor that complemented the artworks was of upmost importance to the gallery owner, Jenna. The wood flooring needed to feel as well as look luxury, which was well achieved with the use of our Heritage Oak.

The gallery has an ever changing inventory of artists work, and so having a solid wood flooring that was both reliable and durable was of upmost importance to the designs. The gallery is open to the public via appointment, and so the wood floor needed to show it’s durability day after day.
Having produced our real wood flooring for the gallery in 2019, we were very pleased to be part Jenna’s second project in 2021 where she opened up additional gallery space, as well as Rope Cottage which is available to hire throughout the year.
